Retired detective Desmond Ryan of Toronto, Canada, author of The Mike O'Shea Crime Series, chats about and reads from his new book "Mary-Margaret and The Case of The Lapsed Parishioner.” He says the character, "Mary-Margaret," is the mother of Mike O'Shea, but "needed her own book." Ryan was a beat cop, a plainclothes detective and now he’s taken all that experience and is writing crime fiction novels.
